Developed by Hannover Medical School, Narcotrend EEG Monitor was selected as high-tech project exhibited in 2000 Hannover Expo when it came out. 2000 Hannover Expo was very valuable for Narcotrend project, because the project idea spread. Ten years later in Shanghai Expo, Narcotrend was introduced in Shanghai Expo as the only high-tech project of German medical field again; and that developing process of Narcotrend project reflects strong charm and impetus of Expo.
A high-level dinner party was celebrated in Shanghai World Expo Garden DEUTSCHEN PAVILLON) on 9 July, participant of Germany were as follows: Christian Wulff, Prime Minister, Federal State of Niedersachsen (GER), Hauke Jagau, President, Region of Hannover (GER), CEO  Prof.Dr .Martin Winterkorn, Dr. Andreas Gruchow, Deutsche Messe AG, President of Continental etc., patent owner of Narcotrend PD Dr. Dr. Arthur Schultz was also invited to present at this party.

At the noon of 11 July13:15, Narcotend was introduced by German govermant in Shanghai World Expo Garden in E section, 3rd floor of city future hall as the only high-tech project (safety of medical field). The subject is The “EXPO project around the world” Anaesthetics in moderation (Narcotrend). This report told us a story of sustainable success from the EXPO 2000 in Hannover to the EXPO 2010 in Shanghai

After visiting Shanghai Expo Exhibition hall, Hauke Jagau, President, Region of Hannover (GER) paid a special visit to Shanghai Ruijin Hospital and Narcotrend  Monitoring Depth of Anesthesia Technique Asia Training Center on 12 July.

Hosted by Guangdong Academy of Medical Science /Guangdong General Hospital, and more than 1000 chief doctors joined, Third South China Critical Care and Emergency Medicine Forum-Narcotrend Monitoring Depth of Consciousness/Anesthesia Technique Southern Training Center Opening Ceremony was celebrated in Guangzhou Zhujiang Hotel on 17 July.  Chief Committee Member of Chinese Society of Anesthesiology, Chief Committee Member of China Critical Care and Emergency Medicine Academy, Chief Committee Member of Chinese Medical Association Emergency Department, President of Chinese Medical Doctor Association Anesthesiology Department, President of Chinese Medical Doctor Association Emergency Department, many leaders and experts of  Department of Health of Guangdong Province, Guangdong Medical Association, Guangdong General Hospital etc. were present at this forum. PD Dr. Dr. Arthur Schultz, patent owner of Narcotrend was also present at this conference, and introduced this advanced EEG monitor. Thereby celebrate and look forward to this top technical product will benefit patients in south of China.
